Hello World!
I have been contemplating writing a blog for some time now and the day has come! There is no better time than right now to start! Over the past year I have been studying with John Maxwell and his staff and have become a member of his speaking, training and coaching team – The John Maxwell Team. In addition, I founded Brockman Enterprises, Inc. the first of this year.
Throughout my adult career, I have had the opportunity to train many people in personal development, sales and leadership through 12 years of owning a personal development school, my years of corporate management and of leading a national health and wellness marketer team. I have had the opportunity to grace the stage at many local and national events to share inspiration on many different topics. It has been a life long dream of mine to become a nationally known, powerful, motivational speaker who adds value and makes a difference in the lives of others….being a part of The John Maxwell Team has given me the perfect channel to do just that! John’s materials are geared toward helping people grow as leaders and that is one of the things I love best.
I have spent my life coaching and mentoring others and now, as a Certified Speaker, Trainer, Coach for the John Maxwell Team, I have officially hung my shingle as a professional life coach. I am offering Mastermind Group studies, individual and team coaching, corporate training and motivational speaking….so pass the word to all you know who could use my services.
Please come back to visit my blog often….or better yet, click the link to be notified by email when new posts are added. My goal is to update it two times weekly on Monday and Thursday. I will blog about personal thoughts & experiences, professional development, leadership, making choices and more and I promise to inspire and motivate you to grow as an individual and as a leader in life….and because I like to have fun – I will add some humor where appropriate!
Thanks for sharing your time with me – come back again on Monday’s and Thursday ‘s to see what’s new…My next blog will tell you a little more of my story and help you understand why I do what I do. Don’t forget to share my blog site with your friends and business associates…..just remember: FollowThisCoach.com will get you there!
Make it an amazing rest of the day!!
Peggy Brockman
Peggy,
This is great! I look forward to following you! 🙂
Thanks Pat – it will be fun – always welcome comments from the wise woman you are!
Hi Peggy, I am so glad for you to reach this pinnacle in your life! I think you are a fantastic motivator and a “mover and a shaker”! Jim and I have always found you to be a most interesting and intelligent person with many varied talents…plus you’re a barrel of fun!!
Love to you and yours,
Susie Ulrey
p.s. I am having two rods put in my spine with screws in Sept. at The Mayo Clinic in Mn….I am trying to psych myself up for this…I know I will be strong and will make it through just fine.
Susie – thank you so much for your kind words! You are always in my prayers and I do understand having to prepare your mind when you go through so much. You are an amazing woman. Let me know if you just need an ear and get tired of “being strong” as you get closer – I truly understand where you are!! You will enjoy my next blog post.
Peggy
Thanks so much Peggy. You always know the right words to say. We will enjoy your thoughts on your new blog. Good luck with all of it. I am certain that you will succeed. I wish that you were closer, you could help Haley maybe. She needs help with her life direction…she is finishing up with her hair degree and will be finished in August. So she now has decided that she would like to be in the sales and marketing end of the hair business. She would like to work for a hair products company…this is all in her head but she does not have a clue how to make this happen. She is working at night still at The Vic. She wants to make a decent enough salary to not have to work at night so she can be with Bradyn more and Jim and I will not have to keep him every work night for her. She is a remarkable hair stylist especially good with cut and color…I think two of the hardest skills. I hope she succeeds so that she will feel like she can support herself and her child…that is one of her biggest goals. She has great people skills and I know she can succeed but she needs direction that I cannot give her. I am at a loss??? how to help her. Any ideas?
Peggy: Looking forward to hearing getting your blogs and looking forward to having you at our committee meeting on 24 July! Feel free to invite others in your circle to attend. Chamber member and guests are welcomed as you know. If possible, please let them know to “RSVP” to my e-mail so we have an idea of how many to expect. We normally try to bring some munchies for attendees and it helps us know approximately how much we may need.
Susie – I do coaching by phone if she is interested. I have a good friend in Atlanta who is a District Manager with a hair products company – I would be happy to make the connection – he might could give her some insight.
